" It all depends on how we see things, not how they are."- Carl G. Jung
Our life reflects our innermost beliefs. Many of our beliefs have been handed down to us from generation to generation and adopted without reflection. Most of these thought patterns and beliefs stem from our childhood and are often the reason for the resistances that stand in our way today in achieving our desires and goals.
We are often not aware of our thought patterns and beliefs. If however we are aware of them and deliberately try to change them, it is often just a matter of time before our old patterns get the better of us. What is stopping us?
Does it have to be hard to break old patterns and change beliefs?
PSYCH-K® refutes some common misconceptions to change:
“If you’ve had a negative belief for a long time it will take a long time to change it.“
Fact: Changing beliefs is like rewriting the software in a personal computer. Having the right tools and applying them is what matters, not for how long the software has been installed.
“Changing old behaviors and thought patterns is difficult and often painful. It’s the “No pain, no gain” myth.“
Fact: Thought patterns and behaviors are caused by perception (beliefs). These are represented by specific configurations of photons of light held in an electromagnetic field (mind). Change the beliefs and you change the behavior and or thought pattern.
“You need to know what caused a problem in order to change it. Put another way, insight into the cause of a problem is necessary to release it. “
Fact: Becoming consciously aware of the source of the problem is seldom necessary to change most beliefs or behaviors. In other words, consciously knowing how you got where you are isn’t usually necessary to get where you want to be.
We are often unaware of the extent to which such beliefs influence us.
We know, all too often, what we can’t do, who and what we aren’t, and what we should be. With PSYCH-K®, it is possible to simply and effectively, change these thoughts.
PSYCH-K® is a clear and effective method that allows us to gain deep insight into what keeps us from living our authentic self. PSYCH-K® makes it possible to identify limiting beliefs and change them into supportive beliefs.
“You get what you concentrate upon. There is no other main rule.“ - Jane Roberts
An old Indian fable tells of the story of the dog in the Temple of the 1000 mirrors.
High on a remote mountain in India was once the Temple of a thousand Mirrors.
One day a dog curiously climbed his way up the stairs to the Tempel. Careful, alert and ready for battle, he entered the Temple. As he looked into the mirrors, he saw thousand dogs, starring at him with their teeth bared ready for battle.
In horror and panic, the dog ran out of the Tempel believing the whole world consists of growling, dangerous and threatening dogs. He withdrew from life and lived in solitude until he finally died.
After some time, another dog climbed the mountain. Curiously and joyfully, he climbed up the stairs and entered the Temple of a Thousand Mirrors. When he came to the mirrors, he also saw and enjoyed a thousand other dogs. He wagged his tail, jumped happily, and challenged the dogs to play.
This dog left the Temple believing the whole world is made up of nice, friendly dogs, who mean him well. From then on, he believed the world was a friendly place where he lived peacefully, content with himself and the world.
Suppose this Tempel of Mirrors (mirror neurons) is a spiritual law. In a figurative sense, we live our lives as in the Tempel of Mirrors. We experience our reality in a similar way. We encounter what is alive in us, and what we radiate outwardly. At any given time, we have the choice to change what we feel and radiate.
PSYCH-K® allows us to become aware of our mirrors and to change what we want to experience and live instead.
